- What first sparked your interest in technology?
Technology is always part of my environment. I grew up surrounded by family members who worked in fields such as systems engineering, telematics, and mechatronics, and I was fascinated by how they can turn complex ideas into real solutions that make an impact.
This curiosity sparked passion for understanding how things work and more importantly, how technology can help shape the future. From an early age, I’ve been naturally drawn to engineering and innovation, eager to be part of change that transforms the way we live and work.
- Walk us through your career journey. What key roles or milestones have shaped where you are today?
My career is shaped by curiosity, continuous learning, and a willingness to embrace new challenges. I started working at a young age and had the opportunity to join Nestlé even before completing my university degree, becoming part of the IT Digital Marketing team.
This experience gave me a close view of the business, helping me understand brands, digital strategies, and the role technology plays as a key enabler of business value. What stood out most during that stage was the openness and collaboration across teams, which allowed me to gain a holistic understanding of how a global company like Nestlé operates.
Shortly afterward, I joined the New Technologies team, where I combined my engineering background with my passion for innovation. Since then, I’ve had the opportunity to lead and support digital transformation initiatives across functions. Each project expanded my business perspective and reinforced my belief that technology has the power to transform the way we work.
Today, I am proud to serve as a Senior Business Analyst within Innovation & New Technologies for Nestlé Mexico, helping drive the adoption of emerging technologies and turning innovative ideas into solutions that create real impact.
- What does a typical day look like in your current role?
No two days are exactly the same in my role, and that is one of the things I enjoy most. I start my day by staying connected to the latest technology trends through podcasts, industry news, or content about innovation and artificial intelligence.
Each week, my team comes together to review priorities, share progress, and collaboratively solve challenges. The rest of my day includes working sessions with various business functions supporting ongoing projects, identifying innovation opportunities, and exploring new ways technology creates business value.
Depending on the initiative, I might be designing digital solutions, evaluating emerging platforms, researching new technologies, or developing strategies to drive adoption across the organization. The combination of technology, business, and people makes every day both dynamic and exciting.
- What excites you most about the work you do today?
What excites me most is the opportunity to continuously learn and explore technologies that reshape industries. I love the chance to collaborate with a variety of teams across the company.
Most importantly, it’s incredibly rewarding to see an idea evolve into a solution that simplifies processes, improves productivity, or helps people work more effectively. Knowing that our work enables teams to succeed is one of the most fulfilling aspects of what I do.
- What makes you excited to come to work each day?
What motivates me most is knowing there is always something new to learn. Nestlé is a company where every project, team, and challenge presents an opportunity to grow both professionally and personally.
I deeply value the collaborative culture and the quality of the people I work with. Throughout my journey, I have been fortunate to work with leaders and colleagues who genuinely care about helping others develop while encouraging new ideas and inspiring us to reach our full potential. Being able to use technology to help people, transform processes, and contribute to a better future energizes me every day.
