From Fashion to AI: How Sheree Built a Career Through Curiosity, Reinvention, and Impact
Sheree’s career path has never followed a straight line. Inspired by the work ethic of her mother, she learned early the value of dedication, resilience, and continuous growth.
“My mom always gave 100% when she went to work. Watching her taught me the value of commitment and work ethic, and those lessons have stayed with me throughout my life.”
That mindset ultimately led her to Nestlé, and to a career in information technology.
Previously, Shree worked in the apparel industry, managing production operations across diverse product categories and working closely with global partners to bring products to market. Next, she discovered an opportunity in product data governance and synchronization. Although the industry was different from her previous work in the fashion world, the underlying principles felt familiar.
“I realized it was the same language in a different industry. It was still about understanding information, maintaining data quality, and ensuring accuracy.”
After joining Nestlé, Sheree joined a team responsible for ensuring product data was accurately managed and syndicated to major retailers. Her work quickly expanded into complex business transformation initiatives, including mergers and acquisitions as well as transitions related to the ice cream and candy businesses.
“My job was to identify the data we needed to acquire, map it correctly, and ensure we could bring that information into our systems.”
These experiences gave her a unique perspective on how data enables business continuity, accelerates integration efforts, and supports strategic decisions across the organization.
Her career continued to evolve, from data governance to helping drive some of Nestlé’s most innovative digital initiatives.

As AI and digital capabilities continue to evolve, Sheree views the most important part of her role as helping teams connect technology to business value. By fostering understanding, aligning stakeholders, and clarifying outcomes, she ensures solutions are not only implemented, but embraced and adopted in ways that drive meaningful impact.
"Our goal is to leverage AI and machine learning to streamline routine tasks, surface meaningful insights, and help teams spend less time managing processes and more time driving innovation, solving business challenges, and creating value."
Today, as part of Nestlé IT & Digital Americas, Sheree connect data, technology, and business priorities to create meaningful outcomes. Whether supporting AI initiatives, guiding stakeholders through transformation, or helping teams unlock the value of data, she remains focused on one goal: enabling people to make better decisions and drive positive impact.
