As part of the Nestle Professional business which focuses exclusively on foodservice, drive business to achieve profitable growth at our large National Chain Restaurant customers. Accomplish through excellent project management and cross-functional team leadership to provide superior product solutions and the development of innovative products. Profitably manage the corresponding customer / channel P&L(s).
As part of the Nestle Professional business which focuses exclusively on foodservice, drive business to achieve profitable volume growth at our large National Chain Restaurant customers. Accomplish through excellent project management and cross-functional team leadership to provide superior product solutions and the development of innovative products. Profitably manage the corresponding customer / channel P&L(s).
Based on knowledge of consumer and operator insights, provide vital input to the development of a product and application strategy for the restaurant channel and work with the National Account Sales team to bring strategy to life. Pass on key innovations to the Branded Food Nestlé Professional team as well as the broader Nestlé USA organization.

The job responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Business Development 75%
•Serve as the key interface between internal teams (PD, Manufacturing Services, and Finance) and the customer via Sales (National Account Managers & Chefs) to develop a scalable portfolio of product solutions that grows our business profitability at our key National Account customers. Must effectively translate needs and capabilities through effective communication.
•Interact with Sales (and customer directly as requested) so as to understand business needs and propose existing product solutions and develop new ones.
•Balance core growth and new product innovation to deliver customer growth.
•Manage the end-to-end new product development process internally with speed and urgency to deliver quality product on time and push the organization into new capabilities.
•Understand culinary and industry trends, manufacturing capabilities, and food science so as to serve as an advisor to the customer and creatively mange the product creation process.
Field Training 20%
•Cultivate and maintain strong partnerships with new and existing Customers.
•Drive customer Ideation process by acting as the project manager and working with the Product development Chef’s and Technologists to commercialize concepts with the target customers. Sharing best-practices from these ideation events.
•Lead On-Site partner ideations in menu concepts, demonstration recipes and techniques that effectively help the Sales team to sell profitable product and flavor solutions.
•Actively supports Training and Development Team in Solon with Best-Practices and Trainer leadership.
•Upholds Nestlé Professional and industry expectations for Professionalism.
•Routinely shares relevant best-practices with peer network.
•Assure compliance with customer contracts and complete necessary customer documentation for new product launches with customer.
•Reconciles T&E budget in compliance with standards of Nestlé USA.
•Achieve new product creation volume targets.
•Achieve sales and profit targets for National Account business.
•Develop innovation that can be leveraged in other foodservice channels.
•Achieve operating budgets.

4.Food Category growth
•Undergraduate degree with post-graduate work strongly preferred; preference for MBA.
•Knowledge of foodservice required. Culinary product development highly desirable.
•Familiarity with food science and manufacturing.
•Proven performance on meeting financial & business targets.
•Past history of cross-functional leadership success.
•Requires up to 30% travel.
•Minimum of 5 years business experience.
•Foodservice-specific experience required
