Gerber Products Company dba Nestlé Infant Nutrition is seeking a MaintenancePlanner at our Eau Claire, WI facility. The Planner/Scheduler is responsible for the planning and scheduling of all Maintenance (scheduled and preventative). This person is the liaison between the production and maintenance in the organization and maintains appropriate records and files to permit meaningful analysis and reporting of results of work done.
Responsible for processing and scheduling of all work orders to include necessity of work order, gaining approval and any engineering input that may be required. Examines and determines best way to accomplish work order, obtains any drawings, and checks for availability of parts. Estimates steps to be taken, man hours and number of mechanics required and lists materials for special equipment needed for completion of the work order.
Establishes and coordinates preventive maintenance plans in conjunction with the Maintenance Manager, Team Advisors and Production.
Participates in Nestle Continuous Excellence (NCE) tasks such as, Breakdown Analysis (BDA), Go-See-Think-Do (GSTD) problem solving, DMAIC’s and White Belt Projects.
Compile, analyze and provide input for adjustments in regards to key performance indicidators.
Keeps Maintenance Manager informed of any difficulties that arise in meeting the requested priorities.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Safety and Environmental:
Follow factory safety & environmental objectives & targets
Follow the plant safety rules; report incidents & unsafe conditions immediately
Maintain compliance with regulations, and refer to the Safety & Environmental Management System(s) on all related procedures and programs.
Understand the environmental aspects of the position and take action to reduce these environmental impacts by conserving paper, electricity, water etc. Will also recycle all appropriate materials (paper, plastic, food, etc.)
Follow factory food safety, quality objectives & targets
Follow Nestle Good Manufacturing Practices; report food safety and quality issues immediately.
Maintain compliance with regulations, and refer to Nestle Quality Management System on all related procedures and programs.
Understand the food safety and quality aspects of the position as indicated on QMS, OJT's and SOP's that apply.
Throughout all of these responsibilities, maintains a focus on continuous improvement.
REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM EDUCATION LEVEL:
Required: Associate degree in maintenance, engineering, or related field. Will accept 3-5 years of maintenance planning experience with CMRP certification in lieu of a degree.
Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
Preferred: CMRP certification (certified maintenance reliability professional)
Required: 3-5 years of maintenance/engineering planning experience.
Preferred: Experience working with SAP
Preferred: TPM experience

• Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel required
• Flexibility with work schedule (allowing for planning needs)
