Behind the Bowl: Launching Fit Kitchen

SPEAKER 1: Yes, I was involved in the Fit Kitchen launch.

ANGELO FIELDS: It was a better-for-you frozen meal, typically for men.

REBECCA WIEDERHOLD: It's around that whole idea of balanced nutrition.

ANGELO FIELDS: On Stouffer's, we're, like, really good at making classic comfort food. So something like Fit Kitchen was really outside of the box.

JILL FOX: There's a whole long list of things we have to do to launch a project, and just making sure we stay on time.

SPEAKER 2: That's marketing, it's sales, it's packaging, demand planning, supply planning--

ANGELO FIELDS: Making sure that everybody had input into the final product proposition was really important, again, I think, for an enhanced overall outcome.

SPEAKER 1: I mean even the senior leadership hears about it and wants to know how the project's doing.

SPEAKER 3: I think we have a great cross-functional team.

REBECCA WIEDERHOLD: They all have different strengths that they bring to the table.

SPEAKER 3: But I think when teams hit their stride, it's when we can be honest and direct that moves the team forward.

SPEAKER 4: We really trusted each other, where we could bounce ideas off of each other.

JILL FOX: They really let the project team kind of own and drive it.

SPEAKER 5: I feel empowered by my management to work on projects that excite me and run with them.

SPEAKER 2: Everyone's really excited to be on it, and kind of excited what the future holds for the brand.

SPEAKER 6: Just with that excitement, walking into the store and seeing it on a shelf.
