The position is required to coordinate Pilot Plant schedule, ensure appropriate raw material ordering & receiving, inventories of raw materials, packaging and supplies.
·Ensure appropriate raw material ordering and receiving in a cost efficient
·Coordinate overall Pilot Plant calendar, including batch records, support documentation, cleaning schedule, maintenance downtime, and meetings.
·Work with Product Development Scientists to schedule Pilot Plant trials.
·Work with/direct Pilot Plant Operators to satisfy schedule
·Work with/direct Inventory Technician to ensure appropriate stocks
·Coordinate specialized shipping, such as for international plant trials
·Facilitation ,knowledge and compliance with all Food Safety, Food Quality, Occupational Safety, Health and Environment policies and procedures as pertains to the position
Experience and Education Requirements
· B.S. degree in Logistics, or similar; or, equivalent experience
· Skilled in use of Microsoft Office tools.
· Experience in manufacturing environment
· Basic knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
Forklift certification preferred
· Forklift certification preferred
