Nestle Nutrition Technical Applications Group is currently recruiting for:

Product Development Intern

Each intern will receive a project assignment related to some aspect of ongoing research and/or product development related to infant or toddler foods either already in-market or being developed for launch within Nestle Nutrition.  Interns will be exposed to the different phases of the product development process, including bench-top/lab scale development, pilot scale development, factory trials/scale up, and technical problem solving.  Interns will work under the supervision of an experienced mentor and will be expected to provide regular updates, as well as develop and present a mid-term progress report and final presentation of results.  All work will be hands-on.  There will be multiple opportunities to interact professionally and socially with other interns both within product development and cross-functionally.

Three to six month duration, with preference given to candidates available for six months.  Start time is flexible:  Start date January 2018 or May/June 2018

Qualifications

Qualifications

Graduate and undergraduate Food Science students:  must have at least core food science curriculum completed (i.e. food chemistry, food analysis, food microbiology, food processing, etc.).  Previous experience in a product development course, product development team or as a Product Development Intern is a benefit, but not required.

 

Desired GA:  At least 3.0
