We are currently seeking a Head of Talent Acquisition to be based in our Headquarters in Stamford, CT reporting to our Executive Vice President of HR.  This position will lead the development, implementation and execution of results-driven recruiting and sourcing strategies across Nestlé Waters North America (NWNA).  We are looking for a technology savvy Talent Acquisition leader to drive best practices and processes across a growing Talent Acquisition function and who has a proven track record in a high volume role.  The ideal candidate will be a proven people leader, have strong project management skills, thrive in a constantly evolving environment, and have a genuine passion for talent sourcing, attraction, process improvement, data analytics, and employer branding.

Key responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:

Lead the Talent Acquisition function:

• Develop and execute the overall talent acquisition strategy for NWNA

• Lead, manage and develop a team of centralized and field Talent Acquisition resources including managers, recruiters, sourcers and coordinators, supporting end to end recruitment of front-line, high volume roles to C-suite executive search  

• Partner with business and HR leadership to evaluate recruiting needs and staffing effectiveness and identify and address any gaps in available talent. Develop and implement initiatives to close those gaps and meet business needs/goals

• Develop and manage the Talent Acquisition budget and headcount plan

• Lead the evolution of the NWNA Employment Brand Strategy

• Manage relationships with 3rd party partners including search firms, advertising, job boards and social media vendors

• Drive continuous improvement in overall candidate experience and team productivity

• Anticipate future trends by continuously analyzing and addressing market conditions and cutting edge recruitment practices

• Lead the Manager of College Recruiting and partner with field HR to drive NWNA’s early career recruiting strategy including internships, apprenticeships and leadership development programs

• Develop and execute diversity candidate sourcing strategy

• Leverage Data and Analytics to identify and validate optimal sourcing channels, recruiter effectiveness, quality and efficiency

• Utilize external information and data (e.g. competitive landscape, labor market trends, etc.) to inform the talent acquisition strategy

• Leverage tools and techniques for talent selection, in alignment with our Talent Selection @ Nestlé methodology, including interview guides, assessments, etc.  

Build and maintain business and HR partnerships:

• Build influential, cross-functional relationships and garner support for ideas with senior executives, peers, business partners and HR

• Conduct regular proactive recruiting reviews with business and HR Leadership

• Represent Nestlé Waters North America as a member of the Nestlé in the market (NiM) Recruitment Work Group- a community of Talent Acquisition leaders across all Nestlé operating companies in the US

• Partner with Legal and Compliance teams to insure a consistent Talent Acquisition process that meets regulatory guidelines

Lead and manage change:

• Represent NWNA in global and market specific transformation initiatives to insure the evolution of the Talent Acquisition function meets the needs of the business

• Lead the Talent Acquisition team through the implementation of major change initiatives 

• Partner with NiM Recruitment Work Group to design and implement Talent Acquisition transformation and recruitment technology solutions

Qualifications

Key qualifications for this position include but are not limited to:

 

• Bachelors degree required, Masters degree and PHR/SPHR certification preferred

• 10+ years of high volume and diverse recruitment experience

• 5+ years of experience leading Talent Acquisition in a multi-site, multi-state, high volume environment

• In house corporate recruiting experience from a large, matrixed organization

• Strong experience with large to medium scale project management 

• Demonstrated experience partnering with clients on solving business/operational issues through the application of progressive people systems practices

• Experience presenting to Executive teams

• Proven ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment of change

• Demonstrated interpersonal, organizational, conflict management, administration, reasoning and decision making skills

• Strong written and oral communication skills

• Ability to engage and influence others at multiple levels of the organization

• Dedication to follow-up with strong customer service approach that is results-oriented

• Communication – expressing ideas effectively in individual and group situations including active listening

• Teamwork/Collaboration – working effectively with teams and work groups

• Demonstrated, strong experience in adaptability and learning agility

• Initiative – taking prompt, self-directed action to accomplish objectives

• Coaching – facilitating the development of others’ knowledge and skills

• Technical/Professional Knowledge – having expertise in strategic sourcing, candidate assessment and selection methodologies, State and Federal regulatory requirements, and applicant tracking systems

• Excellent computer systems and applications skills (MS Office, ATS)
