Responsible for Aseptic Batch Kitchen to produce homogenous slurries for Aseptic Processing

-          Work in Aseptic Batch kitchen to create product consistency in slurries for Aseptic processing. Operate Batch Kitchen equipment including but not limited to: mixing tank, dry slurry, batch kettle, tote concentrate, Breddo, and forklift.
-           Complete in-process quality checks and all documentation associated with quality and production record keeping according to the QMS
-          Order/return materials for production including staging materials to location using SAP system.
-          Maintain Batch Kitchen clean-up such as completing Aseptic CIP, COP and general housekeeping within area while turning Kitchen from production operation to clean up, and return to production operation.  Operator may have to assemble and disassemble equipment.
-          Collaborate with Team Leader, supervisor and other operators to run production, troubleshoot, problem solve and determine ideas for continuous improvement.    
-          Operator may direct a work group of fellow operators (up to 4) usually doing the same work, but at times this may vary.
-          Work pace is generally above normal with occasional challenges to maintaining the level of pace.  Pace is often dependent on specific product runs and configurations of materials, processes and frequency of checks and rinses.   Also, work requires intermittent to moderate physical exertion.

Employee must support and comply with all Nestlé programs and policies, including, affirmative action goals and commitments, SHE (Safety, Health & Environment) strategies, corporate citizenship initiatives, NCE (Nestle Continuous Excellence), TPM (Total Performance Management), GMP’s (Good Manufacturing Practices) and Safety Policies to ensure employee safety and product quality.  Employee must meet all requirements related to NQMS (Nestle Quality Management System) and ISO (International Organization for Standardization) standards for Quality, Food Safety, Environmental Compliance and Occupational Health and Safety. 


Strong computer / technical knowledge.  Performs transactions and/or records information into a computer. Works in three (3) separate computer systems which guides work through automated batching, quality reporting and material requisitioning.  High school diploma or GED required.  OJT training and classroom study also required to properly train, educate and prepare operators on the Aseptic Kitchen Processes.  Operator will be required to document that he/she is qualified to perform the functions of an Aseptic Batch Kitchen Operator.
Employee must be able to do moderate – heavy lifting (up to 70 pounds).
Required: Minimum 6 months relevant work experience
Preferred: 3 years’ experience in food manufacturing or other manufacturing setting
Excellent computer skills
