Our pet food factory in Zanesville is favorably located along the banks of the Muskingum River in scenic east-central Ohio halfway between Columbus and Wheeling, West Virginia. Originally under the ownership of BENCO Pet Foods, this 100-year-old facility was acquired by Nestlé Purina in 1987 and has since evolved as we’ve innovated and renovated our portfolio of products, processes and technical equipment. Zanesville is the only Nestlé Purina location that produces Alpo® Meal Helpers and Moist & Meaty® and Beneful Simple Goodness for all of the United States and Canada, packaged and shipped with the utmost quality and nutrition.
As a Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for the daily supervision of hourly employees along with managing key operating indicators such as safety, performance, quality, and sanitation. You will also be responsible for recommending and implementing improvements within the operations.
Motivate and lead employees on your team.
Coach, mentor, and train employees for effective performance and safe operations.
Lead change initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.
Maintain efficient operation of department including the proper use of labor and equipment.
Perform administrative functions including maintaining records critical to department operation.
Education: High School Diploma or GED
Experience: 2 + years of leadership experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, military, or related environment
