As the North American Communications Specialist, you will join the forefront of this transformation with our Global Business Services (GBS) Communications Team, focused on primarily supporting our Information Technology (IT) function.
Working in GBS, you will provide internal communications to support delivering of both global and regional change programs across Nestlé’s broad portfolio of businesses. You will focus on digital business transformation and supporting internal communications for Nestlé’s new regional technology organization, IT North America, which launched in 2018 as a new shared-service for Nestlé businesses in the U.S. and Canada.
As a Communications Specialist, you will work with the global GBS and North American IT Communications teams, while also building relationships throughout the IT North America organization. You will need to act as a trusted partner to offer internal communications counsel across IT functions, deliver new communications strategies and tactics for major change projects, and manage primary IT communications channels like Workplace by Facebook.
This position is open to any location in the US as a fully remote opportunity with occasional travel.
Participate with Global Business Services (GBS) Communications Team in assessment, planning, and ongoing support for global and regional change-management initiatives.
Act as a primary point of contact for Communications with our regional technology organization, IT North America.
Work with functions, businesses, and markets to include GBS initiatives within their communications.
Develop and drive alignment of defined key messages and tactics consistently across stakeholder groups.
Provide communications counsel and coaching to functional partners and internal stakeholders.
Manage and produce content for digital news channels/platforms for internal audiences (e.g., video, e-mail automation, e-newsletters, intranet, internal social media, online surveys, etc.).
Measure, analyze, and report on internal communications metrics to make ongoing improvements to strategies and tools.
Direct, support, and act on listening mechanisms (e.g., channel metrics, pulse surveys and focus groups), to provide ongoing two-way communications and improvement to communications strategies.
Support management and delivery of large-scale, internal events like regional town halls and webcasts.
Coordinate and align with Nestlé communications and other networks, including Global, Zone, and Market Corporate Communications, Change Management, Human Resources, Capability Building, etc.
5+ years of corporate, or agency experience, in either content marketing, internal communications, change management, journalism, and/or equivalent field.
Applied knowledge of multimedia storytelling and large-audience communication techniques.
Experience with e-mail automation platforms, digital publishing, social-media platforms, and/or online meetings/events platforms.
Bilingual in Spanish.
