The Manufacturing Excellence Division Manager – Education & Training is responsible for implementing the strategy for technical competency development, leadership development, people engagement and implementation of world class learning systems and best practices at Nestle Purina. This person will play a critical role in developing strategies to eliminate manufacturing and distribution costs by developing people capabilities across our factories. You will act as a Change Agent, promoting the vision and the path to Manufacturing Excellence through Education and Training.
Must be willing to travel up to 60%.
Define and communicate Manufacturing Excellence Education & Training rollout plans, which are aligned with market, region, and business needs.
Support development of Manufacturing Excellence methodologies, strategy, competencies and routines; mainly on the areas of Education & Training and Leadership development
Responsible for the management of Education & Training Development Strategy within Product Supply.
Coach and guide Factory Leaders, including HR and Training Managers
Monitor and coordinate ongoing recommended learning strategies at Market and Factory level
Overall management of the division deployment of a digital competence management platform
Develop key capabilities with the factory Manufacturing Excellence teams in order to promote the autonomy and confidence of the local teams.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (Minimum):
Bachelor’s Degree in an engineering, business, or related field required
7 + years of operations experience in a manufacturing, military, or related environment required.
4+ years of experience in leading and implementing Organizational Training and Total Performance Management (TPM) or Manufacturing Excellence (Continuous Improvement) initiatives in a factory role required.
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt Certification preferred
CPTM or equivalent certification preferred
