We are currently seeking a Blow Mold Manager to reporting to the National Director, Maintenance. The primary responsibilities will include:
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Ownership of national technical operations in the factories, with a focus on blow molding and bottle handling equipment.
- Assist in the design and optimization of preventive and predictive maintenance to ensure machine reliability targets are met utilizing SAP Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Ensure development of people through coaching, training and feedback.
- Project Management of the following tasks: BDA's, ARMS 3.0, Extraordinary Expenses including Mold care, Oven Chain, and UPM.
- Develop and Maintain Reliability Centered Maintenance for all Blowmold Equipment. Communication of key Blowmold metrics through monthly container call with factory SMEs.
- Develop, Lead and Manage, processes and routines for critical areas of blow molding. BDA's, ARMS, Lubrication, Unplanned Stops, Safety Assessments, Working at Heights, CIL's, Standard PM's, Mechanical/Process Interventions, Energy Target Setting, Factory training, Weekly Vendor Calls, and Manage OEM Partnership Calls. Focus is on the Day-to-Day Week-to-Week and Month-to-Month activities that support achieving objectives.
- Assist in establishing and maintaining standard operating procedures for all maintenance, safety and environmental related activities by ensuring internal compliance. Internal Compliance defined as being in accordance with established policies, standards, guidelines, specifications and best practices, while external compliance defined as aligning with all state and federal regulations.
- Manage multiyear programs for UPM's and oven chains that require capex and/or extraordinary expense. This includes defined processes on how these programs will be managed and tracked along with 5-year glidepaths for spend.
- Help build and support the annual maintenance budgeting process, ensuring justification, request, implementation, reporting and tracking in line with Guidelines.
Key qualifications include:
- Bachelor's Degree in engineering or equivalent work experience in engineering (preferred industrial, electrical or mechanical engineering)
- Willingness to travel up to 50%
- Strong Pneumatic and mechanical for Blow molding equipment for two step PET.
- Strong Blow molding knowledge of Sidel and Krones equipment.
- Project leader in a factory: successful experience managing one or more projects
- Leadership exposure across several functions.
- Maintenance and technical leadership experience within high speed packaging, ideally beverage, food or other clean manufacturing.
- Proven track record in delivering results by working with cross-functional teams.
- Successful track record of developing people through mentorship and coaching.
- Developed knowledge of Continuous Improvement methodologies.
- Advanced knowledge of using Excel for data analysis
- Knowledge and exposure to TPM, Six Sigma, and various problem-solving methodologies.
