POSITION SUMMARY:
The primary responsibilities of this position are to build ad-hoc/automated reports and perform analytics for the Baby Food, Formula, and VMS segments . The analyst will work closely with and support the Gerber & Nestle Health Science Commercial Development Teams. Must also be able to exhibit strong communication and organization skills while working closely with Sales, Marketing, The Commercial Development Team and other cross-functional departments (Finance, Supply Chain, Project Management). Success is defined as becoming an expert with tools like Excel, IRI, and Power BI, and Power Point. Additionally, the analyst must also become a knowledge expert on shipment and consumption trends in the retail space, and in the segments we compete in.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Develop, analyze and distribute the sales reporting to the internal organization and field sales teams
•Support the Infant Nutrition and Nestlé Health Science Customer Development leads on an ongoing monthly basis with Ad-hoc analytic requests & Trade Calendar consolidation
•Proactive analysis of data and delivery of insights to the CDT that resulted in strategies being implemented across our customers, category, or channels •Provide data analytics for Private Label Manager and SRM Manager
REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM EDUCATION LEVEL:
•Bachelor's level degree required
•Training and experience in the following areas: Financial Acumen, Interpersonal Skills, Highly developed Presentation skills, Negotiation Skills, Sales skills, Time Management, Project Management
•Experience: Minimum 1-year CPG or relevant experience.
•Results Focused / Solution driven
EXPERIENCE:
•Ability to analyze, interpret and develop recommendations from disparate data sources (Business Objects, ACNielsen)
•Knowledge of shipment reporting metrics such as GPS, NNS, forecasting, targets
•Strong communication/presentation skills
•Ability to collaborate and effectively work cross functionally
Working Requirements:
•Must be able to travel up to 15% of total time to support Nestle Health Science group (Bridgewater, NJ), attend national sales meetings, attend any necessary training
