POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for implementing and maintaining the Nestlé Integrated Management System (NIMS) in the PTC Nestle Development Center, managing Quality by Design, Compliance by Design, and Product /Process mastership principles, providing expertise and product-specific assistance to Operating companies.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
People:
•Provide product-specific training for quality topics to market personnel and site personnel as per needed.
•Contribute to product-specific training (quality related topics) organized by SBU or GMB.
•Ensure that project managers and other personnel of the site are trained as per needed on Food Safety, Regulatory and other quality requirements
NIMS:NMS:
•Implement and manage NIMS in the NDC (including documentation management, internal and external audit management, and management review coordination)
•Maintain and drive further improvement of NIMS NMS Compliance level and maintain ISO 22000, ISO 14001, and OHSAS 18001 certificates (including management of continuous improvement tools for quality).
•Perform release of samples produced in the PTC
Quality by Design and Product / Process mastership:
•Ensure that all Development projects correctly include Quality, Food Safety, SHE, Regulatory and other compliance aspects (including process capability)
•Support Project Managers in collaboration with Operations or any other project team member to establish the elements of the Manufacturing Dossier
•Ensures the development of model HACCP, model QMS and any other product quality/food safety-specific instructions for the product and technology category under PTC responsibility
•Provide technical assistance and product-specific expertise to operating companies and share good practices related to product-specific quality related activities
•Ensure the development of product-specific analytical methods and manage the site laboratory (when applicable)
•Responsible to follow and uphold all Food Safety, Food Quality, Occupational Safety, Health and Environment policies and procedures as pertains to role
REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM EDUCATION LEVEL:
•Bachelor's degree or equivalent required (microbiology, chemistry or food science preferred)
•10-15 years food quality experience with both Operational and Management Experience
•Regulatory knowledge with FDA and USDA would be also highly considered
Business Skills:
•Highly developed ability to communicate efficiently internally (factories and markets) and externally (incl. suppliers and contractors)
•Highly developed ability to coach people in reaching their targets
•Highly developed understanding of business and consumers needs
•Highly developed ability to drive the project managers to have Quality aspects embedded in their projects
•Developed understanding of finance targets and the overall budget structure of PTC
Experience:
•Leadership and people development skills (Manager training)
•Fluent in English language written and spoken
•Able to dialogue with all levels of management
•Ability to work under pressure
•Ability to work with functional network
