POSITION SUMMARY:
Key contributor in Nestlé’s transformation into a faster, more agile, customer centric organization. This role will take an active part in reviewing our current process flows and identifying opportunities to leverage new technologies (such as RPA, AI, and IT developments) to remove non-value-added steps.
The Process Optimization Specialist will work closely with the Supply Chain functional and Supply Chain Excellence teams to identify and document current processes, develop new process approaches, conduct testing, update standard routines, contribute to new training materials, and then may perform hyper care to ensure the continued success of the new processes.
This role will manage a pipeline of process improvements and bot developments for one or more functions and work closely with leadership to achieve the committed timelines and value drivers.
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBLITIES:
Collaborate with functional supply chain stream leads, super users, and process SME’s to identify and prioritize process improvements. Partner with teams to appropriately leverage new approaches such as RPA, AI, and other various digital process automation methods to functional opportunities. Projects will be ranked based on value potential, complexity to develop, likelihood of success, and long-term sustainability.
RPA support activities (documenting current state, collecting/creating test data, testing new solutions, updating standard routines, leading hyper care, and optimizing bot schedules). This could involve Personal RPA development. Partnering with IT to deliver other forms of digital process automation and further develop the infrastructure to support various digital initiatives.
Provide maintenance support to existing bot processes.
Provide reporting on bot usage, value generation, % success ratio, and run times.

- Reports directly to Manager, SC Strategy
- Must be able to work collaboratively within all levels of organization and across all impacted functions.

REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM EDUCATION LEVEL:
- Bachelor’s Degree required or equivalent Supply Chain Automation experience.
EXPERIENCE:
- Demonstrated experience in process optimization, process mapping, scripting or debugging
- Experience with leveraging Decision Trees and LEAN methodologies
- 3+ years of functional Supply Chain Knowledge
