Position summary
The Sr. Supply Chain Analyst will utilize data to identify and support projects and continuous improvement activities within the Market Access and Supply Chain groups, using datasets provided from internal and external resources. This person will source, consolidate and report data for pre-established and/or new deliverables and offer an assessment of results that can translate to impactful tasks or areas of opportunity. This role will also lead supply chain initiatives as it relates to data analytics and business opportunities.
This will be an individual contributor role that requires significant collaboration with internal and external cross functional groups. This includes crafting and communicating presentations/reports to influence various levels of an organization, identifying business opportunities and driving continuous improvements at multiple stages both internally and externally within the supply chain. The position may require domestic and international travel, as required to support Customer and Project needs.
Key responsibilities/ critical metrics:
Complete the following analytical activities using Power BI (or other equivalent data software program), interpret results and facilitate dialog with partners to drive business and cost savings opportunities:
• Identify, collect, consolidate, interpret and report bulk data in a visual manner to establish a collective understanding of results across multiple partners;
• Generate monthly Sales Reports using descriptive analytics for individual sales regions with associated assessment;
• Perform a monthly analysis of leading customer order patterns to identify leading / lagging performance and collaborate externally for opportunities to improve ordering and shipping;
• Support quarterly analysis of inventory replenishment in USA and Canada to optimize cost savings initiatives associated with inbound freight, inventory replenishment quantities and order frequency;
• Complete quarterly analytics of bulk Market Data to pinpoint areas to improve sales and distribution channels;
• Support monthly demand planning activities based on historical performance, current business objectives and market insights to establish quarterly forecast values;
• Prepare data for annual sales planning analytics utilizing historical data and future business opportunities, operating within the established framework set by the head office finance group;
• Research potential customer base and distribution partner opportunities as uncovered through strategy and analytics;
• Perform other analytical activities as necessary.
• Release sales report by end of 1st week and complete team review by end of 2nd week
• Complete order pattern review by end of month with reporting by end of 1st week
• Completed within 1st month of new quarter with review within 1st week of next month
• Completed and reported within 2 weeks of receipt
• Completed and recommendations provided by end of 1st week
• Development and completion of sales model by end of November
• Based on the outcome of analytical results, manage internal and external relationships associated with the Supply Chain to optimize inventory holding levels, mitigate stock out, minimize write off and trouble shoot credit requests /returns;
• Conduct timely third party root cause investigations associated with inventory / shipment discrepancies, damage and credit requests to improve inventory delivery;
• Act as a primary point of contact for USA and Canada Warehouse locations supervising Quarterly Business Reviews, Root Cause implementation, Billing and Invoicing discrepancies, credit request and special project execution;
• Complete bi-weekly reviews of inventory holding levels with head office supply chain group and collaborate on inventory demand and freight methods;
• Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain and Manufacturing partners to support product launches, not limited to Supply / Demand planning, Pricing analysis and warehouse integration.
• Resolution or corrective actions in place within 6 weeks of observation or opportunity
• Complete business review by end of 1st month of quarter, proactively address observations
• Stock out less than 1%, write off less than 3%, inventory levels below defined target and 5% savings in shipments 30%

• Leading Customer Purchasing / Distribution groups
• Supplies and Vendors, as required
Experience and education requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Data Science, Business or Engineering, preferred
• 3-5 years of experience with focused attention in Data Analytics, Business, Marketing and/or Supply Chain
Preferred skills
• Experience using Business Intelligence software (ie Power BI, Tableau, Einstein, etc.)
• Outstanding analytical capabilities to interpret data and provide recommendations to solve business challenges
• Ability to build and communicate presentations to influence
• General knowledge of Inventory Management and Logistics
• Project management experience including timely schedule adherence, cost awareness and resource management
• Root cause investigation execution
Additional notes
• Ability to work independently and remain focused in times of idea generation and ambiguity
• Ability to travel Internationally and Domestically up to 25%
• Ability to independently research and learn new content to adapt to industry / business needs
• Ability to apply strategic evaluation to recommend projects or opportunities for business growth
