- Apply a platform-minded approach to design, implement and manage the applications and infrastructure solutions in Nestlé Purina DTC’s public cloud environments (Microsoft Azure, AWS)
- Work alongside the Nestlé Purina DTC Development Team to improve the way DTC platform technology is developed and delivered, including designing and implementing systems to improve reliability, scalability, security and performance
- Manage relationships with managed service providers to ensure support activities (monitoring, alerting, logging, incident management) are executed according to best practices and SLAs
- Develop processes for monitoring and testing application and infrastructure performance for bottlenecks and other performance issues; define processes for Development Team and/or MSPs to identify and implement fixes and improved solutions
- Provide recommendations for future-state needs (talent, MSPs, solutions, processes) to drive excellence in cloud hosting and DevOps practices for NPPC DTC
- 5 years’ experience in engineering and operating applications and infrastructure within Microsoft Azure and/or Amazon Web Services
- Experience implementing DevOps concepts and working with DevOps-related tools (Git, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, etc.)
- Experience in implementing and sustaining cloud infrastructure and applications according to substantial security requirements
- Experience with containers and container orchestration software platforms like Docker, Kubernetes, etc.
- Understanding of modern agile software development and DevOps practices; ability to design team structure and processes to support these practices
- Experience with using managed service providers for cloud support activit
