The Decision Support Finance Manager (BUs) acts as the liaison between the Decision Support team and the Divisions. As an integral business partner, the role provides insight into actuals and forecasts, guidance on the roll-out of corporate processes, and supports the business in making informed decisions. The individual must be a change leader and effectively interact, collaborate and communicate across multiple functions in the organization while demonstrating strong teamwork and leadership skills.
Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Ensure meaningful insight into drivers of monthly actuals and forecasts for all Business Units within Nestle USA. Build relationships with cross-functional finance teams and Business Units at various levels, to ensure up-to-date and accurate information, and one source of truth.
Provide value-added commentary and analysis to support KPI’s published. Support management team in providing transparency on business results, drivers, risk and opportunities.
Provide expert knowledge and guidance on corporate processes and initiatives.
Participate in the NUSA planning process. Support NUSA consolidations of Vevey submissions (Monthly Forecasts, Month End Close results, MBS).
Provide support to integration and project teams related to acquisitions and divestitures to ensure reporting is in line with Business Unit and NUSA needs
Manage, lead or participate in special NUSA projects to support strategic initiatives and provide additional ad hoc analyses for Nestle USA.
Requirements and Minimum Education Level:
BA/BS with major in Accounting or Finance
Minimum of 5-8 years’ experience in Accounting/Finance
Proficiency in use of Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access) and working knowledge of Essbase, SAP and B/W
Strong analytical skills (quantitative as well as qualitative) including building models, prior data mining and root cause analysis
Manage/prioritize time, information and resources effectively in order to meet deadlines and respond to requests on a timely basis; multi-task
Clearly and effectively communicate with others in written and verbal form
Be service oriented, attentive to detail and committed to achieve customer / company goals
Work effectively within a team environment
Apply good judgment and professional integrity in decision-making
Proven ability to design financial & non-financial measurements and key performance indicators (KPI’s) to drive improved business performance
Ideal candidate is results focused, a self-starter with strong initiative, naturally inquisitive, able to think independently and has a desire to make a difference
