As the Associate Marketing Manager, you’ll drive brand performance and share by capitalizing on market opportunities rooted in fact-based analysis and consumer insight for some of our beloved brands! You will have the opportunity to lead and execute projects related to our global-brand strategy plans as defined by the Marketing Manager, working side by side with cross functional teams like Sales, Omnichannel, Operations, Product Development and Finance on various generating demand initiatives.
• Use consumer and marketplace insights to support and develop a deeper understanding of the demographics, psychographics, and behavioral drivers of our consumer or a particular consumer segment. • Dive into demand landscape for the consumer/brand by utilization of digital insight tools • Manage brand projects and assignments in a way that demonstrates an understanding of key consumer insights and an ability to activate them in meaningful strategy and innovation activities. • Use data, trends and support from Manager, Shopper Marketing and Market Research to help build a robust and actionable learning plan to address knowledge gaps in consumer, brand, product, business and marketplace findings. • Use consumer, shopper and marketplace data to support defining a brand’s short-term and long-term innovation strategy. • Lead innovation projects aligned with the category strategy such as new idea generation and validation, commercialization strategies and plans and channel- or customer-specific opportunities. • Identify innovation and renovation opportunities and lead initiatives in support of the brand’s nutrition health and wellness proposition • Assist with the development and execution of a product strategy for a brand • Develop annual plans to closely align the efforts of Marketing and Sales to generate optimal demand for the brand • Influence management, cross-functional and external partners by preparing, presenting and selling in aspects of commercial plans • Assist in building the annual communications plan including recommended touchpoint plan, activation/implementation plan, stewardship and measurement • Support Manager in implementing a 3-year consumer centric brand plan to drive and/or sustain long-term brand health including equity, awareness and engagement
Requirements and minimum education level:
Bachelor Degree and a minimum of 3 years experience with consumer marketing, brand management or product management
Spanish Bi-Lingual Fluency (written and verbal)
Master’s Degree in Business, Marketing, MBA or related field is preferred
Strong analytical and strategic skills inclusive of custom and syndicated data sources such as Nielsen or IRI.
Experience in Consumer Packaged Goods Industry
Experience partnering with cross-functional teams and ability to influence without authority
Experience developing strategic brand/product plans and commercialization strategies is preferred
Ability to think critically, with a strong sense of curiosity and consumer empathy
