In this role, you’ll ultimately support the Business Analytics function of the Nestlé Waters North America (NWNA) business based Stamford, CT at Nestlé Waters headquarters. By partnering with various stakeholders, you’ll serve as an ambassador or liaison in between the business and our IS/IT function in order to ensure development, delivery and support of NWNA Business Analytics applications.
This role undoubtedly requires a unique skill set: extensive exposure to IS/IT service delivery, designing the architecture of business analytics solutions, as well as a strong understanding of modern data engineering and data science technology, process and techniques. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing budgets, aligning with compliance standards, leading/training team of developers in analytics technology, and provide the technology guidance to stakeholders for the future state of Business Analytics for Nestlé globally.
Lead cross-functional technology initiatives using advanced cloud-based BI & analytics technologies that will discover insights and guide strategic decisions
Lead a team that will build, develop and maintain data models, reporting systems, data automation systems, dashboards and performance metrics that support key business decisions
Design and build technical processes to address reporting and analytics issues across different business units
Oversee the design and delivery of reports and insights that analyze business functions, key operations, and performance metrics
Organize and drive successful completion of data insight initiatives through effective management of analyst and data employees and effective collaboration with stakeholders.
Manage and optimize processes for data intake, validation, mining and engineering as well as modeling and visualization
Oversee the requests process: tracking requests submitted, prioritization, approval
Recruit, train, develop and supervise business analytics developers, analysts and project managers
Develop and maintain relationships with key business unit stakeholders
Ensure compliance of analytics applications
5+ years Information Technology experience
Experience leading cloud development and architecture teams
Experience with 1 or more cloud-based analytics platform (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.)
Data Warehousing and Data Engineering experience
Knowledge of data science and methodologies, data vision and data governance
Experience with Agile Methodology
