Project Management • Perform all phases of project management per Project Management Institute standards • Develop specific project concept documents including project charters • Conduct estimation, planning, and execution of projects • Develop and implement project timelines, resources requirements, and budget details • Comply to internal process validation protocols which includes DQ, IQ, OQ, and PQ • Train maintenance and production employees on documentation and equipment operation for newly installed projects and/or new employees that are placed in critical areas
Continuous Improvement • Identify packaging system improvement and cost savings opportunities relating to safety, quality, process optimization, energy and water savings • Investigate feasibility and execution of identified operational improvements • Complete changes under the guidance of the management of change systems • Assure process compliance to engineering and quality documents using fit gap approach of existing and new systems
Nestle Continuing Excellence (NCE) • Participate in operational review meetings to support factory business units which includes operations and maintenance • Perform follow up investigation, root cause analysis, and resolution of packaging issues using NCE tools such as GEMBA, GSTD and DMAIC teams • Stake holder of unplanned stops and asset intensity improvement

REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM EDUCATION LEVEL:
Required: BS Degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering with 7+ years of industrial experience OR Associates Degree in Engineering Technology with 12+ years of industrial experience
Preferred: Experience in food plant engineering, preferably in infant formula or nutritional products, with emphasis in dry powder packaging. Experience related to powder packaging engineering is an added advantage.
– Ability to work flexible hours – Above average communication skills (written and oral) – Above average project management skills – Problem-solving skills – Ability to prioritize – Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Project and Excel required; SAP, AutoCAD experience is preferred – Knowledgeable in the principles and application of statistics. – Understands principles of QMS, HACCP, and SOP’s. – Knowledge of dry powder packaging systems – Other areas of knowledge preferred, but not required. – Knowledge of chemistry (especially food chemistry) and the ability to relate it to current and new designs. – Working experience with heat transfer and fluid mechanics as it relates to process design. – Working knowledge of CIP, and dairy processing.
