Our Talent Acquisition Team is seeking to hire a driven, innovative, customer centric Talent Acquisition Specialist who will play an integral part in creatively identifying and engaging top talent in a variety of different roles for our boutique locations. This will be a 6 Month Contract position and will be focused on improving and contributing to the exciting development of Nespresso USA’s employer branding, recruiting processes and hiring the best talent for the organization.
The Recruiter, Retail will conduct full life-cycle recruitment to support hiring initiatives in our US retail store locations. The Recruiter, Retail will leverage appropriate sources to create candidate pipeline and use business insights to identify best-fit candidates for hiring managers.
A Day in the Life:
Talent Pipeline & Candidate Management:
•Develop and execute the strategies for finding candidates for specific job tracks and critical skills talent.
•Source candidates and generate talent pipeline by searching web, conducting passive candidate outreach, tracking contact and online networking with candidates, other relationship-building strategies.
•Manage candidate information in ATS database (Taleo) and inflow of candidate resumes.
•Review and select appropriate candidates to be evaluated by hiring manager, overseeing fairness and objectivity of the process and ensuring compliance with local regulations and best practices.
•Conduct behavioral based interviews following company methodologies ensuring minimum competency requirements are fulfilled by candidates to be evaluated by hiring managers. Determine suitability of candidates for continued consideration.
•Provide exceptional customer service to candidates and hiring teams throughout the recruitment process including coordination of interview scheduling with the candidate and hiring manager.
•Train hiring teams on competency selection, interviewing skills, recruiting process and selection tools to include new hire orientation trainings.
•Conduct consensus meetings with the hiring team on candidate selection and act as ongoing candidate relationship manager by interacting with and influencing employment decision of prospects and candidates
•Provide ongoing value-adding recruiting related advice to hiring managers and influence talent decisions.
•Analyze short-term and long-term hiring needs and advise hiring managers on labor market availability and sourcing techniques.
•Be informed and up to date about the business in order to speak to candidates about the job in detail and with relevance, to ultimately make the best candidate matches.
•Posting open jobs on the Taleo applicant tracking system.
•Posting open jobs on internal site and other sites as needed.
•Create offer letter templates and offer letters.
•Follow up on extended offers.
•Provide outstanding customer service to all candidates, hiring managers, and recruiters as needed.
•Scheduling candidate interviews, candidate travel, and handling candidate expense reimbursement. This includes coordinating calendars and working with interviewers/hiring teams/department admins to secure appropriate time.
•Coordination of background check and drug screen process.
•Setup vendors and pay invoices while working with the department budget.
•Conduct intake meetings for all job requisitions and consensus meetings for all candidates reviewed.
Applicant Tracking System:
•Act as the in house expert on the applicant tracking system (Taleo) to provide guidance and be a resource to others.
•Manage the open positions and close out filled requisitions.
•Work on ATS and job site projects as needed.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution required
Experience: 1+ years of experience as a recruiter in an agency or corporate setting OR equivalent hands-on field recruiting experience 1+ years of experience using an applicant tracking system (ATS), and/or related and transferable business experience 1+ years of experience using behavioral based interviewing techniques. 1+ years of experience using social channels such as LinkedIn or Indeed to source candidates Experience in retail or customer service industry preferred Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook
