Develop maintenance, repair and operations (MRO) partssourcing strategy and purchase parts for stock and work orders. Monitor min/maxlevels, purchase, and maintain inventory for maintenance items. Purchase itemsfor fixed & variable operations as well as safety. Create and maintainreports for various purchasing and budgetary requirements. Source vendors percompetitive bidding SOP and work closely with finance group to ensure properpayments and vendor processing.
Keyresponsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Create and update department performance reports
Reconcile all completed work
Participate in team meetings to exchange information about department performance
Comply with agreements for vendors and services needed by facility
Review all parts request, get quotes and order as needed
Communicate verbally or through reports all relevant issues regarding inventory and purchasing
Perform regular analysis of inventory reviewing Min/Max and usage
Issue purchase orders to vendors for all purchases for approved requisitions
Coordinate with finance for timely vendor payment, resolve any invoice discrepancy’s
Travel to pick up local parts when needed
Work with Back Office team on overall AMM process and KPI’s
Collect invoices from Vendors for monthly AMEX charges
Reconcile purchasing card monthly for proper accounting
Participate in national conference calls for process improvement
Work closely with back office store keeper making sure orders come in and are put away
High School diploma or equivalent, bachelor’s degree preferred
Must be able to work any/all shifts, holidays and overtime on occasion if business needs change
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Must be able to lead a team meeting as well as be involved in group discussion
Ability to stand, bend, stoop, and lift at least 50 lbs
At least 2 years’ relevant work experience, manufacturing and technical background preferred
Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with other team members and vendors
Computer proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Excel is required, as well as Microsoft Office Suite
Abilityto multi-task in a fast paced environment
