POSITION SUMMARY: To manage sales growth and relationships with assigned Agency distribution partners and their producers by providing sales and training support, product knowledge and information about business procedures. 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Drive sales to meet Gerber Life’s Agency Sales Overall goals and the assigned account’s sales goals while keeping in compliance with Gerber Life’s regulations and the firm specific rules of engagement.

Position Gerber Life as the leading provider of life and health products

Attract and retain producers that market and sell life and health products

Identify market and sales purchase trends that favourably impact Gerber Life

Manage support for agency distribution partners and their agents to help achieve sales and profit goals

Field in-bound inquiries from producers about products and sales ideas

Provide training to distribution partners and their producers

Outbound sales calls with active producers and keep them up to date on products, provide information, ideas and other material required to complete sales

Make sales calls on a daily basis with GAs and producers to highlight product attributes and value proposition, uncover prospective sales activity and encourage them to quote the company and place new business applications

Be available for joint calls with agents and their customers

Track and report on sales activities by Agency distribution partners

Direct the implementation of projects related to assigned Agency distribution partners



Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM EDUCATION LEVEL:

• Bachelor’s degree
• CLU and/or ChFC considered a plus
• Life & Health Licensed

EXPERIENCE:

• 3 or more years experience working with producers to market and sell life insurance products. Experience can come from home office or insurance agency or insurance distribution entity. Good knowledge and understanding of life products.
