Business Solutions Expert, Planning (Trade Promotion Management)

Our Business Solution Expert for planning services, resides in St. Louis, MO supporting the North & Latin America Zone for Nestlé GLOBE Marketing & Sales (M&S) stream. In this role, you’ll develop, deploy, support and drive effective use of planning solutions. Ensuring solutions are aligned with business requirements and that they are delivered against defined project plans and Nestlé Globe’s Marketing & Sales business objectives are met.

  • Understand and manage incoming developments/business requirements, gather/consult on functional requirements and help deliver developments on time and to budget
  • Collaborate across Nestlé’s organization to successfully deploy and integrate Trade Planning Management solutions into Marketing & Sales business that ensures alignment with business requirements and our business excellence guidelines
  • Collaborate with Team Lead, Program Manager, Product Manager, and other specialists on the Planning Information project portfolio and actively contribute towards program run initiatives
  • Manage incoming requests from Markets for solution deployment and seek out opportunities within Zone
  • Manage the resourcing requirements across teams involved and ensure accurate administrative updates are maintained in a standard project resourcing tool
  • Work with key stakeholders to influence and drive continuous improvement, continually finding sustainable improvements to functionality and processes
  • Manage project documentation and status reports where appropriate and ensure they adhere to program and compliance standards
  • Assist with third party vendor management, provide direction on prioritization for open items and collaborate on issue resolution
  • Ensure SLO adherence in regards to incident resolution and provide regular reports to key stakeholders in regards to issues/actions
  • Support analyst and other specialists and provide coaching within the team through knowledge transfer, supporting, and sustain issues
  • Apply change management principles and processes in the course of projects and sustain
  • Take business process level 4 as input and design the level 5 business processes (at application level)
  • Liaison with the development team: ensure the solution is delivered as per functional specification and with proper documentation, provide advice as necessary

  • Bachelor’s Degree OR a HS/GED Diploma with a minimum of 3 years significant/relevant TPM experience required
Experience: (Years/Type) 
  • 2  plus years’ Trade Planning Solution business processes support experience in a  Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) or Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) environment required
  • 2 plus years’ Business Analyst / Systems Analyst experience solving business problems with technology solutions
  • 3 plus years End-to-End Trade Promotion Management (TPM) experience (Account management, Trade Promotions, Claims & Deduction management, and TPM solution configurations) required 
  • ERP or SAP interface knowledge and support experience preferred
  • Trade Promotion Optimization (TPO) experience preferred
  • Product Management experience a plus
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification a plus
  • Travel is required 25% - 40% of the time initially. Future travel as needed, but likely less than 10%
