The Digital E-Business Team is looking for an Ecommerce Content Marketing Lead with a passion for content marketing and working with eretailer marketplaces like Amazon. They will support the development and stakeholder management for econtent creation and ecommerce marketing and help find data-driven insights to improve performance and build demand for product launches.
The Ecommerce content marketing lead will be both strategic and detailed in executing content and campaigns across eretailer portfolios. In this role, they will manage ecommerce agencies, customer conversations, complete projects in a timely manner and assure consistent messaging according to retailer campaigns, style guidelines and brand attributes. In addition, this candidate will have a role in monitoring and growing a content marketing strategy for several online marketplace channels with a priority on Amazon.
Catalog and PDP Management – New item set up, item maintenance, content uploading and PDP monitoring.
3P / GM and Competitive Monitoring – Tracking GM activities and key competitors in conjunction with analytics team.
Managing and building strategy with agencies, and monitoring progress on all campaign and content initiatives on e-retailer websites.
Brand Store Maintenance – Supporting Trade Marketing in maintaining and enhancing.
Andon Cords – Facilitate and address all Andon Cords.
Review collection and Syndication through Vine and or Bazaarvoice – submitting new items for sampling, working both internally and externally.
New Business Launches – Support the launches of new businesses on AMZ.
Collaborates and hyper-organizes brands' econtent across partners and the digital team to ensure timely and proper implementation/ syndication of all updated basic and advanced content across all e-retailers (e.g. serve as specialist on all content requirements and process for key e-retailers; understand and drive correction of all content gaps).
Track all new product introductions and packaging/content changes and ensure relevant/updated content is available and syndicated to e-retailers in a timely manner.
Conducts quality assurance for all econtent deployed. Trouble-shoots digital shelf errors to achieve immaculate accuracy.
Collaborates with category marketing teams, label development, agencies, and customer teams to define the product content and copy and make sure that it is compliant to company and industry standards.
Syndication Support: own migration of data into our syndication tool, Salsify, and lead management of the platform
Partner Management: communicate up and down the chain to ensure development understands standard methodologies for cataloguing, and Deployment team is connected into structure, for a seamless go-live date; maintain collaborative relationships with cross-functionals brands, Product Information Team, IS/IT, content agency, and salsify management agency
Partner with Analytics on critical metric performance across e-retailers and drive action to address issues
Partner with platform vendors and utilize Edge and Salsify Insights (content syndication reporting tools) to maintain outstanding online shopping experience
Monitor listing quality and assist with growth of assigned online marketplace channel across distributor and Route to Market partners.
SEO/ SEM knowledge and understanding to edits online content, including product titles, copy, bullet points, and keywords.
Follows established company and industry guidelines to optimize product description in order to drive ecommerce and online sales.
Bachelor's Degree or higher in Marketing, Communications or Journalism preferred.
Minimum 3 years experience partnering with agencies or retail partners
Extreme level to detail: experience managing projects/timelines/creative assets for highly-complex and high volume of assets and driving teams to action to meet deadlines.
Specific experience in eretailer/ Omni retailers or tools preferred (Amazon, Salsify, Edge etc.)
Proven Experience linking metrics to action-items. Proven history of being a self-starter, working independently, and success in a highly agile environment with quick pivots.
Knowledge of Google Adwords, SEO, or content management a plus
Flexible and solution-oriented with excellent time management, great organizational skills, and the ability to multitask.
Proficient in creating and presenting Power Points and excel
Demonstrated communication, relationship building, and team/collaborative skills.
Positive attitude and a willingness to embrace change in a growing and evolving business.
