POSITION SUMMARY The purpose of Supply Chain Development is to collaborate internally and externally to evolve Go-to-market solutions with new products and/or strategic customers that improve and drive supply chain efficiencies. With this vision and insight, this role will provide support to Supply Chain Development Manager in project coordination and this associate will drive detailed projects plans and facilitating cross-functional team meetings to ensure on time and successful completion of projects.
KEY RESPONSIBILTIES: Intermarket Coordination: The Supply Chain Sr. Specialist Project Manager is mainly responsible for leading the interaction with Export Associates and Export Affiliates to establish new business or products by working with respective internal departments or external agencies to ensure product is viable to ship. They will also work with Supply Planners/Deployers to ensure active and finalized Product Briefs are in place prior to shipment of goods. Arranges sample shipments as necessary for Affiliate markets.
This position is also responsible for working with the International 3rd Party Sales team to assist in the development of new products and/or customers by collaborating with markets and customers to ensure Product Registration is established, appropriate time is established for project needs, and that necessary documents are provided, as needed. Project Coordination:
The Supply Chain Sr. Specialist Project Manager is also responsible for providing project coordination for Supply Chain projects that drive integration, re-engineering and growth initiatives in the Supply Chain function, supporting the US Nestle Health Science business. This position provides a detailed project plan and facilitates a cross-functional team to ensure on time and successful completion of Operations/Supply Chain projects. Apply continuous improvement methodologies to functions (for example, typical timelines, checklist of required items for export). Such projects may include product discontinuations, minor packaging changes, SKU extensions, etc.
QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain or related field required. Minimum 2-4 years of experience with Supply Chain roles, emphasizing Project Coordination/Management experience Roles in one of the functions across Generating Demand or other Ensuring Supply areas of: Sales / Marketing; Technical & Production; Customer Service; Demand & Supply Planning; Supply Chain Development; Procurement; Physical Logistics Highly Preferred Skills Knowledge of healthcare distribution, Nestlé competitors and business competition in general Excellent oral and written skills, organizational and time-management abilities, effective inter-personal skills, and the ability to work with individuals at all levels within the organization Flexibility and adaptability to the demands and requirements of a fast-paced environment Excellent creative thinking skills with emphasis on developing innovative solutions to complex problems that may not have one clear answer
