POSITION SUMMARY
The Social & Influencer Marketing Specialist will take a hands-on, leading role in developing and executing organic social and influencer marketing strategies and campaigns for a specific set of strategic of NHSc brands.
This person will grow, maintain and engage followers across all social media channels to build deeper connections between consumers and NHSc’s brands. They will also proactively seek and build relationships with influencers ranging from Nano (<15K followers) to larger influencers (250 – 500K followers). The Social & Influencer Marketing Specialist will activate social & influencer campaigns across the full consumer journey with clear objectives and KPIs aligned to the holistic brand strategy.
This role will be a great fit for someone who loves social media and is excited about influencer marketing. Building relationships will be at the core of this position. We’re looking for someone with natural relationship-building skills who can engage and speak empathetically to individuals who are aspiring for a healthier lifestyle or dealing with medical conditions and need a voice to comfort, guide and inspire them.
- Design organic social strategy and own community management
- Develop organic social strategy and content pillars, driven by a deep understanding of the holistic brand strategy and business objectives
- Create and maintain the social content calendar for multiple brands, aligned with the brand’s priorities and other planned activations
- Brief creative teams and guide the content creation process for organic posts
- Schedule & monitor all organic social posts with awareness of paid social activations as well
- Consistently respond and proactively engage with consumers and prospects on social media channels, embodying the brand’s voice with existing and potential followers in order to grow and maintain brand fans
- Must be results-focused and provide regular analysis and reporting on the effectiveness & business impact of activations
- Design and lead execution of influencer marketing strategy
- Develop a detailed Influencer strategy for each supported brand, aligned to the holistic brand strategy and business objectives
- Proactively seek out influencers using tools/platforms and organic outreach approaches
- Thoroughly vet potential influencers and their followers to ensure brand fit and brand safety
- Manage the end-to-end influencer relationship from initial outreach through briefing, campaign activation and ongoing relationship maintenance
- Work with Brand and Digital leads on content amplification strategies
- Stay on top of trends and demonstrate thought -leadership on social & influencer across the organization
- Must be results-focused and provide regular analysis and reporting on the effectiveness & business impact of activations
- Conduct Social Listening analysis and provide learnings and insights to rest of organization
- Engage in social listening for brands and competitors to understand the category landscape and identify brand opportunities as well as potential influencers.
- Present insights and recommendations to stakeholders at multiple levels
Experience and Education Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or other relevant field
- 3-5 years of demonstrated experience and in-depth knowledge of the social media & influencer marketing industry
- Hands-on experience across Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and social media platforms
- Experience with Direct-to-Consumer brands is a big plus
- Ability to build and execute social and influencer strategies without dependency on agencies is required
