As the HRIS Sr. Solution Architect for North America, in alignment with Enterprise Architecture strategy and global HR Technology strategy, you will be accountable for proactively and holistically safeguarding & evolving the existing HR applications and integration landscape to be more resilient, compliant, automated, efficient, user friendly and value adding to our receivers in the HR function. You will be driving the transformation of North America HR Technology landscape to be more cloud native, mobile compatible, user friendly and more seamlessly integrated – leveraging various HR apps and latest technology platforms in use at Nestlé – SAP Payroll, Kronos Workforce Management, SuccessFactors, SAP Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure / PowerApps, SAP CPI, Innowera, WalkMe, etc. You will also be driving the set up / fine-tuning of organizational framework that ensures key technology design decisions are made considering architecture and integration landscape implications & enterprise architecture standards in a repeatable and sustainable manner.
Understand the Nestlé HR Global and North America HR Technology Integration & Architecture landscape specifications/diagrams in order to effectively manage enhancements to the architecture framework for the HR products/platforms and build out the full design architecture to align
Prepare for and represent IT HR North America during Architecture Review Meetings which will include owning and pruning the North America HR Applications master data
Setup guard-rails and guidelines for making technology design decisions and educate IT North America HR on the same
Prepare and execute on long term vision, short and mid-term technology roadmap for the evolution of North America HR landscape in alignment with vision / roadmap for Global HR Technology landscape
Be the quality gate for deploying changes to existing custom programs, interfaces and apps
Drive master data management and data quality initiatives in partnership with HR Master Data owner
Introduce US and Canada specific HR technology innovations to IT HR North America
Use knowledge of defined reference architectures, technology trends, and implementation experience in order to translate a business need into a solution blueprint that represents an end-to-end technical solution
Define the guidelines, standards and solution patterns to ensure product-based decisions are aligned with the enterprise’s future-state architecture vision; specifically transitioning to cloud platforms
Identify both the financial and organizational impacts (e.g., on skills, processes, structures or culture) of the overall solution architecture
Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, systems analysis or relatable IT experience
7+ years of experience as a HRIS solution architect
Experience with at least two HR ERP systems – specifically SAP Payroll, Success Factors Suite, and/or Kronos Workforce Management
Experience in SAP HR system development lifecycle including understanding of requirements to proper design technique, configuration, writing, specifications, testing, and documentation as needed
Experience with managing hybrid HR technology landscapes – including cloud SaaS HR technologies, ERP HR systems and employee and organizational data distribution management
Ability to collaborate in a multi-dimensional organization with varied priorities
Good understanding of HR technology trends
Ability to connect broader HR technology trends internal needs of HR organization
Ability to articulate long term HR Technology Strategy and the short, mid-term plan to get there
Ability to simplify complex technical architecture to HR business context
Strong knowledge and experience in designing, documenting, communicating HR Systems Architecture Specifications & Integration landscapes
Experience in Activating / onboarding / Integrating HR Cloud Technologies
Ability to design and manage integrations between multiple HR systems
Understanding of agile methods and processes, and capable of supporting agile project teams by providing advice and guidance on opportunities, impact and risks, taking account of technical and architectural debt
Effectively communicates in English at different levels and across HR and IT professionals in the organization
Experience working in a global environment and with virtual teams
