The Factory Manufacturing Excellence Support Specialist person will support the definition, alignment and implementation of the Local Leadership Team in Fort Smith’s Execution Plan.
Responsibilities: They will co-develop the leadership improvement strategy by including the following elements: • Factory OMP • Loss Analysis / External Benchmarks • 3 years planned progression of metrics, people and work place transformation (Factory Vision) They will acquire alignment from the leadership/ key partners around the Execution Plan and supports cascade across the Business Unit (Production Department communication strategy). Partner with local leaders and key individuals to define their Execution Plans to deliver the encouraged results that include: • Nestle Consumer Excellence rollout plans • Other factory key enablers (Digital, CAPEX,..etc) • Key improvement projects • Key proficiency building activities • External support requirements They will initiate the implementation of the improvement plan by: • Ensuring accurate governance / routines at the leadership level to supervise execution progression and improvement sustainability • Spend time on shop floor to evaluate maturity progression and identify key opportunities. • Provide mentorship and feedback to leadership teams and align on corrective actions to adjust execution plans Develop Critical Competence within key members by: • Developing Leaders (including Functional reps / AWG System Owners) ability to find opportunities to transform workplace, people, and behaviors to deliver results through GEMBA visits • Partner with HR / Training & Learning function/pillar reps to establish and evaluate robustness of function/pillar capability plan • Train and mentor Factory & Local Leaders/ AWG system Owners on needed system competences based on development needs and raise for external support as needed” • Leads Local Leadership Teams in building long term NCE Rollout Plan • Evaluates maturity of key systems and provides feedback to functional / pillar leads • Responsible for development, competence building, and health of Industrial Performance systems & routines, including: Labor utilization studies, data reliability, problem solving, SAP BOM/Master Data, Planning Rate Reviews, DMO Performance data integrity and reporting, St 21-908, Capacity Utilization, etc.)”
Requirements: • 2-4 years proven experience in Manufacturing, working with Factory Management & Leadership team, with success in supporting & developing cross functional teams. • Active role in implementing Goal Alignment/TPM/Lean. • Understanding of cultural organizational change, process improvement and business connections. • Experience working with Line labor standards, Budget preparation/review, and line capability/speed studies • Working & developing improvement projects, loss analysis, & strong experience in leading /applying problem solving tools. • Bachelors’ degree in Industrial engineering required or 5 years of similar practical experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
