This position creates, manages, and retains all medical records for factory employees. Leads the Emergency Response Team (ERT). Is part of the Safety Health & Environmental Department and responsible for injury management, charting, medical notes/documents, medical orders/standing orders, durable medical equipment, and fall protection. Administers flu shots and monitors vaccines. Must be able to have a flexible schedule with some weekends.
Documentation of records for Flash 18 (hyperbarics) schedules chest x-rays, tank physicals, and annual hearing tests.
Injury management; First Aid Supplies; OSHA 300 and 300A Log; Workers Compensation.
Responsible for developing and updating safety policies and procedures with the Safety Health & Environmental Manager.
Continuing education and development of the Emergency Response Team
Works closely with Human Resources with Health & Wellness and Dr’s notes for Return to Work and/or Short Term Disability/Modified Duty.
Maintains First Aid Supplies; monitors vaccines; reviews invoices for medical.
Flexible schedule to cover 3 shifts; On Call
Other duties as assigned.
Internal – directly interacts with senior and mid-level managers and hourly associates.
External – may be called upon to interact with customers at all levels. Interfaces with outside vendors.
REQUIREMENTS, MINIMUM EDUCATION LEVEL, AND EXPERIENCE:
Licensed Practical Nurse Certificate
Strong communication skills
Influence cross functionally through strong communication skills and collaboration
Good organizational skills, time management
Experience with Project management
Experience communication at all levels within the organization including the leadership team
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
Must be able to build relationships, trust, and communicate at multiple levels of the organization.

Ability to work in a collaborative, matrixed team environment.
