Nestle Health Science in Eau Claire, WI is accepting applications for a Maintenance Mechanic opening.
SHIFT: 4:50pm-5:00am 12 hour nights with alternating work days
SUMMARY OF DUTIES
The duties of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
Follow factory and department safety rules
Perform general and preventive maintenance work including mechanical, 1&3 phase electrical hydraulics, pneumatics, plumbing and fabrication
Utilize computer interfaces and other related electrical control devices
Effectively communicate daily issues through area log books, electronic pass down and verbal communication with peers
Attend area meetings with active participation in the continuous improvement of equipment and processes
Assist in maintaining P&ID’s, electrical control drawings, process descriptions, equipment tagging and documentation as assigned
Apply working knowledge to provide preventative and corrective maintenance support for food plant equipment including: high speed packaging equipment, product sterilizing equipment, instrumentation, and form/fill/seal fitting machines, pumps, valve clusters and actuators, plate heat exchangers, process flow/piping, homogenizers, tank agitators and drives, motor controls, etc.
Must be computer literate for proficient operation of the Maintenance Management System and spare parts documentation
Work Closely with Team Advisors and Project Engineers on projects
Safe and efficient operation of a fork truck
While performing all duties, employee is expected to:
Maintain compliance with regulations, and refer to the Safety & Environmental Management System(s) on all related procedures and programs.
Understand the environmental aspects of the position and take action to reduce these environmental impacts by conserving paper, electricity, water etc. Will also recycle all appropriate materials (paper, plastic, food, etc.)
