Position Summary: This role will serve as the lead for the ongoing assessment and translation of marketplace trends and data into meaningful insights and will drive development and evolution of launch excellence, go-to-market strategy, market and competitive intelligence for the US Rx portfolio. Manage business & financial simulations at a corporate level for senior management decision support regarding prioritization and activation of internal or business development driven initiatives. Identifies, develops & manages process to consistently provide HCP prescriber targets, aligned with marketing & sales strategies. Leads planning and targeting strategies in collaboration with Sales division and new business development implementations.
Key Responsibilities: • Participate and lead portions of the development of an integrated marketing plan for NHS Rx portfolio • Support the development of the annual brand plan by collaborating with cross functional team to ensure tactical output aligns with brand strategy. • Develop comprehensive measurement strategies for analyzing and ongoing optimization of tactical performance • Engage and interact with appropriate members of sales force to ensure flawless execution of marketing initiatives • Manage relationships with strategic partners and vendors to ensure that projects are completed in a timely and efficient manner while remaining on budget; condition partners for executional excellence and hold them accountable for success metrics; constantly analyzing and optimizing campaigns • Represent marketing team as the subject matter expert at PMRC meetings, as well as other internal meetings. • Support the development of appropriate messaging, programs, and materials for Plan of Action (POA) meetings and National Sales meetings. • Identify customer needs and drive appropriate product adoption by leveraging existing relationships with key customers, patient advocacy groups, and other appropriate stakeholders
Experience and Education Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in business or related medical field. MBA strongly preferred. • 6+ years of experience Marketing, Commercial Operations and/or Sales including strategy development, execution, and measurement in pharma/medical industry. • Managing transversal business activities, successfully working in international and cross-functional matrix environments • This position will require up to 30% travel
Preferred Skills: • Broad multi-functional experience including experience in Sales, Marketing, Sales Operations and/or Account Management • Ability to develop strategy and plans with the greatest business impact collaboratively with internal and external partners • Proven track record of execution excellence • Proven ability to make complex decisions when dealing with ambiguity • Ability to link strategy to clearly actionable initiatives • Ability to understand and anticipate needs from health care providers and decision makers at national and local levels • Sense of urgency to deliver both short-term and long-term results. • Team player with a proactive and collaborative approach • Strong ability to work across functions • Strong negotiations and influence skills for internal and external parties • A combination of technical credibility, effective communication skills, and ability to focus on what matters most.
