Responsibilities for the Team Coordinator include: • Involvement in a proactive approach to safety improvement for the entire factory – building a self-accountable team with active safety committee members • Make sure that safe practices are followed by everyone at all times (including GMP’s, hygiene, and housekeeping) • Heavy involvement in TPM (Pillar Member, AWG/MWG Leader) – development, training, coaching and implementation • Lead and be an active participant of DMAIC teams to improve overall Factory Performance and Cost • NCE involvement to improve existing methods to continue the journey to 0-1-100 • Meet production attainment goals and/or logistics activity goals • Confirm quality-routine audit of quality checks performed by team members and improve current process • Manage hot issues for quick, efficient resolution • Coaching to improve overall performance of employees • Ongoing development of standardized work methods/processes, ensure that standardized work is followed • Validation of changes to standardized work methods/processes • Ensure debriefs/SHO are well executed with follow up actions executed by responsible parties • Onboarding of New Employees, Training and cross training of team members along with documents that validate training. • Coordinate DH activities with DH Planner and maintenance team • Use SAP system to Effectively Manage Machine rebuilds and generate/ retrieve work orders • Report/Track daily production results & labor • Facilitate small group activities (SHO’s, DOR’s, debriefs, problem-solving sessions, CI teams, etc.) • Participant in the Selection & Hiring process • Communicate, coach and train employees to continuously improve team’s ability to respond to equipment failures and loss of production. Teaching people a proactive approach to minimize down time • Data reporting – responsible for completion and understanding of SPC, EIT, SAM, SAP and daily CM responsibilities – also has the ability to assist others in learning these areas
Position Qualifications: • Proficient computer navigation skills, including the use of Microsoft Office applications • Two to Five or more years proven maintenance and operations experience in a manufacturing environment • Prior experience of Blowmolding, Injection press hydraulics, and pneumatics is preferred • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interaction with all employees • Reliable, motivated, dedicated and committed – the “willingness to do whatever it takes” attitude • Achieved a rating of Meets Expectations or above on your most recent performance review • No disciplinary action (written warning or above) has taken place in the most previous 6 months • Support and recommendation from your Resource and/or Manager (via the job posting form) • Knowledge of equipment, PM program and SAP system • Ability to be self-managed, scheduling and performing work often unsupervised
